WP 2: Graduate Program

Based on the competencies of the participating partners in the fields of astronomy and astrophysics, software and data technology, and data science, we are developing a graduate program in WP 2 that will enable young scientists in NRW to play a leading role in solving the scientific and technological problems of the coming decades.

We will implement innovative formats of graduate education by integrating already existing graduate colleges within a cross-site graduate college, which is to be applied for and in which radio astronomical topics will be combined with data science topics and technological aspects. Business enterprises from NRW and other non-university research institutions, such as the FZ Jülich, will also be involved.
